Message If any motor in the history of motors was ever designed to be turbo'ed only- it is most definitely the vg30. It is overbuilt and as a result the rods are heavy, the block is heavy, the stroke doesn't allow for high piston speed which limits rpm so you can't make hp from higher rpms, so you basically are stuck with a low revving 650 lb motor.

VH45 ain't getting no 24mpg let alone 20, I'm just curious to see if anyone knows what Z1 did to achieve those numbers. I'm really just chatting. I'm not chasing high horsepower on the NA Z- I'd say 250rwhp and I'd be happy and done otherwise it's staying the way it is. I may just end up painting it and selling it because I just did the math and it would cost me ~$600 more a year just to have another Z registered and insured, and that's if I were to drive it everyday with better gas mileage and fewer oil changes taken into consideration. I just talked myself out of keeping it in one sentence SHEESH ANTIHERO why do you have to be such an anti-hero?? :P

*disclaimer*: all that I say may be true or I may be completely wrong and I accept that.... please, it is your duty as another person on the internet to in-politely tell me how wrong I am :)
